Three things happening at once, and none of them need you.
Wooden drums roll across the body in the direction lymph naturally drains, which is what moves fluid. Infrared warms the tissue underneath so the muscle relaxes and circulation opens up. Collagen light works on the surface. That part is subtle, and slower than the rest.
Individually none of these is new. Together, in one session, they do considerably more than any of them does alone — which is the whole reason the machine exists.
Legs feel lighter and less swollen. This is fluid moving, and it is the change most people report on the way out.
Circulation improves with repetition rather than in one go. Most people say they sleep better around here, which we did not predict but hear often.
This one rewards consistency rather than a block of sessions. Once a week is the floor — the lighter, less bloated feeling builds while you keep coming and fades if you stop.
It settles back. Nothing is undone or wasted, but this is maintenance rather than a fix you complete — which is why we sell memberships for it rather than courses.
Most people arrive having had manual lymphatic drainage, or having thought about it. Here is the difference, line by line.
You stay in gym clothes. Nobody touches you at any point.
You undress and are draped, with a stranger in the room.
The same speed and pressure for the full forty-five minutes.
Strongest in the first ten minutes. A therapist would tell you the same.
Infrared warms the tissue underneath, not just the surface.
Hands can only push on skin from the outside.
The drums rotate quicker than a person can move, and keep it up.
Limited to what one pair of arms can sustain for an hour.
Running through the whole session.
Not something hands can do at all.
Nothing rubbed, nothing kneaded, nothing pinched.
Firm manual work sometimes leaves marks for days.
Same session whoever is on shift, whatever slot you book.
By therapist, by day, by how many clients they have already seen.
Priced so that keeping it up is realistic.
Priced as an hour of a trained person’s time.
One exception, and we mean it: if you need lymphatic work for a medical reason — a diagnosis, a referral, ongoing lymphedema — see a trained manual therapist. A machine cannot assess you.
No. It is firm — you will feel the drums working — but it should never be uncomfortable. Nobody is touching you and nothing is being pressed into you; if anything does not feel right, say so and we will change the settings. Nobody here is interested in you enduring anything.
You will usually feel one, particularly in how heavy your legs feel. What you will not see is a dramatic change in the mirror — this treatment is much better at how you feel than at how you look, and we would rather say that than sell you a session on a promise it cannot keep.
Often yes, but only with your surgeon’s clearance. Some of our clients use Bodyroll while recovering, including after cosmetic surgery, and the lymphatic effect is a large part of why.
Bring their sign-off, and tell us what they said about timing and which areas to leave alone. We will work to that. Without it we will ask you to wait — that is not us being awkward, it is that your surgeon knows how your healing is going and a machine does not.
Yes. Pregnancy and the first six months after giving birth; a pacemaker or heart insufficiency; thrombophlebitis or deep vein thrombosis; any acute inflammatory illness; skin rashes or broken skin in the area; and oncological or neurological conditions.
Recent surgery is a separate case — see the question above; it needs your surgeon’s clearance rather than a flat no.
Speak to us first — and to your doctor. We will ask about all of this when you arrive.
Drink water, and more of it than usual for the rest of the day. That is genuinely the whole aftercare.
Yes, and many people do — they do different jobs. Bodyroll is the weekly one for how you feel; Signature Sculpt is a cycle you run when you want to work on a specific area.
They are bought separately, though. Bodyroll memberships and Signature Sculpt packages are not interchangeable, so you would hold both.
Three memberships — $99 once a week, $149 twice, $199 as often as you like. All month to month, 30 days’ notice to cancel. Packages start at $275 if you would rather not subscribe. New here? Your first session is $29 with code — valid on a single session only, and not credited towards a package or membership.
